Clean Up After Yourself!

I have lived in two different dorms here at Framingham State University and both times it seems I get stuck living on the worst floor. It really doesn’t matter what dorm you live in, there is always that floor where you get stuck living with disgusting girls who do not clean up after themselves in the bathroom. It really grosses me out as well as other people who use the bathroom in my wing on the floor I live on. Most of the girls on my floor are freshmen. Now I know that it is there first year here but it should not be there first time ever using a shared bathroom. Just in the sinks alone they leave toothpaste, macaroni and cheese, salsa and other foods, hair everywhere, and water splashed all over the sink top. This is absolutely disgusting! Not only do they not clean up their own mess they think that it is okay to just leave it there for someone else to handle. That someone else is the nice cleaning lady that comes and cleans the bathroom throughout the week. Her job is to do a quick clean of the bathroom and maintain the cleanliness not scoop out the hair and macaroni and cheese some girl left there after they rinsed out their bowl. Ew! Also, she shouldn’t have to scrub off the nasty things left on the toilet seats or pick up the hair that’s in the shower drains. These girls are disgusting and I am sure they don’t do stuff like this at home but if this is how they live at home and their mommies clean up after them then that’s just pathetic. It is time to grow up and clean up after yourself and be courteous to others who have to share this bathroom with you.

  1. I totally empathize with you. When I used to live on campus I had 4 roomates and they were all disgusting. The bathrooms on my floor were also disgusting. People should learn how to pick up after themselves because the cleaning people can't keep track of cleaning up every single thing like everyone expects them to. Although living off-campus is bittersweet, I prefer it because my house is always clean :D
